ASTYM / Graston
The ASTYM and/or Graston System is a therapy approach that addresses scarring, fibrosis, and degeneration in soft tissues caused by trauma, surgery, or overuse. It is effective for both new injuries and chronic conditions.
The ASTYM System uses specialized instruments along the skin’s surface to identify problem areas and stimulate healing. As the body recovers, exercise and activity help guide healing, allowing patients to return to movement without pain or limitation. Documented success across various diagnoses shows ASTYM often helps when other treatments have failed.
Therapists customize stretching and exercise programs to support healing, with most patients experiencing significant improvement within 3-4 visits.

Cupping
Cupping therapy is a traditional alternative medicine practice that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction, which is believed to promote blood flow in targeted areas. Many individuals use cupping to relieve pain and inflammation, enhance relaxation and overall wellness, or achieve a deep-tissue massage effect.
Dry Needling
Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN) is a treatment for muscular tightness and spasms, which commonly occur after injuries and may accompany degenerative conditions. These spasms can lead to nerve compression and irritation, affecting mobility and causing pain.

Dry needling uses small, thin needles, inserted into muscle trigger points, to create a local twitch response. This releases the trigger points, allowing muscles to relax, improve flexibility, and reduce pain symptoms.

Kinesiotaping (taping)
Kinesiotaping is a taping method used to address various issues. It can support and activate muscles or prevent over-contracture and spasms. Other applications include reducing swelling and corrective techniques.
Although the tape may support or inhibit muscle activity, it always allows full range of motion and is designed for 24-hour wear. It is used alongside other therapies, exercises, and functional activities.

Soft tissue mobilization
Soft tissue mobilization (STM) is a hands-on therapy used by physical therapists to address musculoskeletal issues. It helps relax tense muscles, break down scar tissue, reduce pain, and improve range of motion.
By applying stretching and deep pressure, STM targets rigid muscle tissue, alleviating tension and reducing fluid buildup that causes inflammation. It is commonly used to treat soft tissue injuries like strains and sprains.
